Lloyd "Ned" Lishman is a recurring character in the US series Shameless. He is the father of Jimmy Lishman. He portrayed by Harry Hamlin.
History
After Mickey is sent to juvie for assaulting a police officer; Ian, distraught, goes to a gay bar. Lloyd expresses interest in him and invites him to spend time with him. Ian proceeds to meet him at a hotel, and Lloyd tells him that he works in real estate in Miami. The two begin an affair.
Unknown to Ian, Lloyd is the closeted father of Steve (Jimmy). Ian discovers this when he is invited to a dinner with Jimmy's family. Ian excuses him from the table upon the revelation, and is joined by Lloyd. Ian asks if Ned's family know about his sexuality, with him still in denial stating that he is not gay but he likes "pretty much anything that walks" meaning he is most likely pansexual. Jimmy later discovers his father's sexuality and was horrified at his deceit but slowly understood his past status' with others.
In May I Trim Your Hedges?, Lloyd's affair with Ian is revealed to Mickey and he is attacked by Mickey after he calls him "Ian's boyfriend".
