2 Windsor Gardens, Chatsworth Estate

History

2001

• 2001: The Gallaghers moved into the house. Frank Gallagher enlisted the help of a Housing Officer named Billy Wilson into discreetly moving from the family's former home in Bishops Grove to escape creditors.

2004

• 2004: Frank Gallagher moved out of the house to live with his girlfriend Sheila Jackson.
• 2004: Fiona briefly moved out and moved in with Steve McBride at his house while Monica Gallagher briefly moved in, but only for a short while.
• 2004: Fiona moved next door.
• 2004-2005: The wall from next door was broken down, combining the two houses into a six bedroom house.

2005

• 2005: Fiona Gallagher moved out to live in Amsterdam.

2006

• 2006: Mandy Maguire moved in to be with boyfriend Phillip Gallagher.

2007

• 2007: Monica and Frank moved back into the house after getting back together.
• 2007-2008: Sometime after the end of Series 4 and before the start of Series 5 the house reverts to a three-bedroom after Yvonne Karib and her children move next door, restoring the wall between the two houses.

2008

• 2008: Phillip Gallagher moved out of the house.
• 2008: Monica's mother Joan Dallimore briefly stays in the house, until she dies.

2009

• 2009: Ian moves out and Monica Gallagher leaves.
• 2009-2010: Sometime after the end of Series 6 and before the start of Series 7, Debbie leaves to join the army.

2010

• 2010: Frank's new love Libby Croker moved in with her mother Patty.
• 2010: The house was smashed up by Jimmy and his mob.

2011

• 2011: Liam Gallagher moved out to live with Monica and Aidan Croker moved in.
• 2011: Libby Croker moved out after her split with Frank.
• 2011: Patty Croker began paying the rent with Frank as her lodger, she later left for a while before returning.

2012

• 2012: The Gallaghers were evicted along with most other residents of the estate in a government initiative to demolish the estate. They later move back home when the project is ruined.
• 2012: Carl Gallagher moves out to live with his new girlfriend, Clem.
• 2012: Kelly Maguire and Marty Fisher move in.
• 2012: Patty Croker no longer living at the house following her death.

2013

• 2013: Kelly Maguire and Marty Fisher move out.
• 2013: Lip Gallagher and his daughter Katie Gallagher briefly stay overnight at the house.
• 2013: A prostitute called Derilee briefly takes up residence at the house. After she leaves, Monica Gallagher returns to the house.
• 2013: Ben Gallagher begins living at the house following his birth.

• The house originally used as 2 Windsor Gardens (shown above) is in Gorton, Manchester. But since Series 5, Shameless has been filmed in a purpose built set on the Roundthorn Industrial Estate in South Manchester around Wythenshaw.
