On this wiki, it says that Ian Gallagher was born in France, how come?

Fandom recently announced that Interactive Maps are live on the platform. As a recap, Interactive Maps is a feature available on Fandom where communities can design their own customized maps. You can place pins on an image that will lead to wiki articles when clicked on!
Interactive Maps are available to all communities, accessible from the the "Explore" menu on the local navigation, or by visiting Special:AllMaps directly in the URL. Map creation and editing is currently limited to those with the user right editinteractivemap, which is automatically given to administrators and Fandom Staff.
If you're excited about this feature and would like to start playing around with one, reach out to an active admin to receive the necessary rights. In the absence of one, feel free to ask me. Either way, be sure to check out this help page and start creating!
Here are some existing maps created by communities:
Any questions, please let me know!
Season 6, episode 1
Further to my last post, I have updates on Women's History Month, MediaWiki 1.37, and quizzes!
For Women’s History Month, Fandom intends to spotlight creators, IPs, and women behind-the-scenes at Fandom and editors that “break the bias” by forging a path that supports women's equality. Read more here!
In March, Fandom will starting the upgrade from MediaWiki 1.33 to MediaWiki 1.37. Think of this like a mobile phone software update that brings security updates and more. Upgrading means wikis get the latest updates and improvements.
Note: this is not a design change on Fandom and impact on wikis should be minimal compared to UCP and FandomDesktop changes. This Help page provides a detailed summary of what is changing.
Prior to the migration, a banner will appear across the site informing the community of the upcoming change. Read more here!
Research concluded that wiki readers are more likely engage with interactive content like quizzes rather than static content. With that, Fandom are starting to expand quizzes! Logged out users who visit Fandom can expect to start seeing quizzes appearing on top communities across the site that are relevant and page-targeted. For now, only quizzes created by Fandom staff, Wiki Representatives, and Wiki Specialists will be what’s targeted to visitors, but that will change as we continue to develop the product.
Feel free to share your feedback! If you notice any errors on quizzes or accuracy issues, please let me know and I can make adjustments. Read more here!
That about does it! Any questions, feel free to reach out to me! :)
Hey again everyone!
For those of you who don't know who I am, I'm Chris - the Fandom Wiki Representative assigned to this wiki. I just wanted to update you all on some Fandom updates in the first quarter of this year, including new team members, new features, and a new initiative!
Celebrating Black History Month with Fandom!
Fandom is celebrating Black History Month throughout February! We’re highlighting recent media impacted by Black creators, including TV shows, movies, video games, comics, and artists. We hope that you spend some time diving deep into some of the IPs that made 2021 such a memorable year.
Fandom's plans for the first few months of 2022
We have a blog from the VP of Fandom, Brandon Rhea, with updates on the first few months of 2022 on the platform! Highlights include:
In 2021, we released an Interactive Maps alpha to 20 communities.
Feedback from the Map testers was invaluable to determining what tools to build into the feature next.
After a pause for the last few months of the year, development has once again kicked off on Interactive Maps.
It will become available to all communities who want it in the first few months of 2022.
Check out this example on Avatar Wiki.
Fandom will soon be upgrading from MediaWiki 1.33 to MediaWiki 1.37.
Changes will be minimal compared to UCP, with mostly backend changes.
The rollout will happen within the first few months of 2022.
We are continuing to evolve what appears in the Fandom Video Player with the production of more Interactive Videos.
We’ve already released a pilot video based on Diablo II.
Trivia Quiz Expansion
We will be expanding our Trivia Quiz feature within the first few months of 2022.
Quizzes proved to be highly popular with fans as we experimented with them in 2021.
They are currently available in a select number of Discussions communities.
New Fandom Team Members
Quincy Carroll recently joined Fandom as Chief Product Officer.
We are hiring a Senior Community Manager, Creator Outreach on our Community Experience team.
We are hiring a Senior Community Partnerships Manager, Gaming on our Community Activations team.
We will be bringing more Wiki Representatives onto the Community team.
That about covers it! Any questions or feedback? Please do Contact us! :)
What’s the age of Caleb???
( im only on season 9) I'm mad but idk if its true but someone told me that mikey and ian get married. Now i just finished-ish the episode than ian and mickey end up in a cell together but yeah.. also this community is dead but...
I feel so bad for the men :(
What happened to Franny after Debbie ran away ?
So I rewatch the show every time a new season is released on Netflix and season 11 was just released so I'm watching again.
Question 1: Where the hell did Ian's freckles go from season 1 to 2? He was covered with them in season 1 and the only excuse out there is "Freckles disappear as you age". Well that's the dumbest reason I've ever heard since it take years for them to fade THAT fast.
Question 2: Why does Liam keep getting darker? When he's a baby his skin looks like he's part white. That makes sense since he really is Frank's son. Then, each actor they choose gets darker and darker which makes no sense at all.
Anyone got any answers other than "the writers thought we wouldn't notice"?
Hey again folks!
Fandom is holding another edition of The Downstream on Friday, September 10 at 11am EST.
This 2-hour event is held on Twitch at https://twitch.tv/Fandom and is a bit like a mini Community Connect 4 times a year. Fandom staff brief viewers on what is happening on Fandom, with the latest news and updates.
In this edition, guests include:
Joey Merkel, Director of Social Strategy & Operations, who will be presenting on how Fandom approaches social media and answering questions about how admins can manage social media accounts for their wikis.
Maggie Owens, Sr. Analyst - Site Analytics, who will be explaining how Fandom tracks traffic trends on the platform and connects them to external events, like how the Spider-Man trailer caused certain pages within different Marvel wikis to spike.
Max Spector, Director of Brand Design, who will be illustrating how the new logo came to be over the rebranding process, in particular where we went from Community Connect in March. Call it The Spector Cut of his original presentation.
There will also be an Ask Fandom Anything, in which some editors and admins have been given the opportunity to ask ther questions. Specials guests will be brought in with detailed, prepared answers ahead of time.

FandomDesktop is available for users to opt-in and test NOW!
To access the new skin, you need to do the following:
Go to Special:Preferences
Click any FandomDesktop preferences you want such as light/dark mode, content width, and right rail
There you go, you're on the new skin! Now not all wikis will have theming set up and templates may look different. To help with this, there is a Preparation Guide to help admins prepare their wikis. Admins - if you have any issues - please do contact me via my wall or on Discord at Spongebob456#7402. You can test out the new Theme Designer and if you feel your wiki is ready to be fully migrated to FandomDesktop, there is a button to mark it as such in the admin dashboard. This may impact the order of migrated wikis.
If you have any FandomDesktop bugs please comment below! Be sure to look at the Preparation Guide to make sure it's not a fixable styling issue. With bug reports, I need the following information:
What browser are you using (Chrome, Firefox, etc)
What editor? VisualEditor, VisualEditor - source mode (also known as the 2017 editor), or the source editor (aka the 2010 editor)? You can check which editor you're using via your preferences.
Detailed steps to reproduce the bug. Links, screenshots, and videos are very useful!
Any questions/comments/bug reports - please post below! :)
